Student Runway | PFF 2013

The Perth Fashion Festival Student Runway never fails to impress me. I love how original and passionate the students are. They search out of the box for inspiration, never conforming to fashion rules of wearability or profit goals.

This year's design students from WA's top fashion institutions were particularly innovative, creative and talented.

Here are my photographs from the fabulous Student Runway show consisting of Ready-to-Wear Womenswear, Ready-to-Wear Menswear, Eco Design, Contemporary Evening-wear and Costume Design categories.

It's a shame that often once design students leave school they either cannot make a living from their designs or they alter their style in hope of becoming successful but loose their spark.

I hope these students hold on to what makes them individual. They are all so very talented.
