My wardrobe is broken into two parts: Quality Classics and Unique Finds. When I shop, I search for these two things.

For Quality Classics I know where to look. A few favourites are Country Road for local and J.Crew and Everlane for international. The fit needs to be perfect and the quality has to be good. I don't mind spending more in this area, as I know they will last me for seasons to come.

The second category is Unique Finds. These pieces are either distinctive, special or quirky. I have set designer vintage stores I visit. I spend a while sorting through their racks, only occasionally coming across a gem. Other times the piece may be from an up-and-coming designer that has caught my eye.

Mixing and matching these two categories usually makes for an interesting look.

Let's break down my outfit.

Quality Classics

These three pieces; blazer, white shirt and hat, I wear all the time, both together and separately.

A black blazer will never go out of fashion. I own this silk lightweight boyfriend blazer from Michael Lo Sordo. I also own a vintage Gucci woollen blazer and a Camilla and Marc structured blazer. They are always on rotation.

White shirts are my go-to when I'm not sure what to wear. Although they're a pain to wash, they keep outfits looking fresh. This one's from Country Road.

A hat is something you keep for a long time. I love them and am constantly looking for more to add to my collection. This beauty is from Fallen Broken Street from The Iconic.

Unique Finds

I am lucky that many of my Unique Finds I have inherited from my family but some pieces I have found along the way.

These beautiful olive leather culottes belonged to my mother. She wore these in her early twenties. They're still so soft after all these years. I am so grateful she kept them.

The mother of pearl clutch is by Azooi. I interviewed the designer, Shana, a few posts back, you can read it here. This clutch is so unique, I have never seen anything like it before. It's even more stunning in real life.

These boots are by Laurence Dacade. I was lusting after these for a very long time. They are still one of my most loved pieces.

How is your wardrobe broken down? Do you wear mainly classics or unique finds or do you combine them like me?
