Experience is Key
It’s important to gather as much as experience as possible. Interning, freelance or volunteer, do whatever you have to to gain the knowledge in your chosen industry. This is extremely valuable when it comes to the fashion industry.
Transfer your skills
Utilise all of your skills and work experience throughout every part of your life and transfer them from your blog or passion to your day job and vice versa. Doing this will show how much value you can bring to a business as well as growing your own internal knowledge and confidence.
Your blog is a business
“At the end of the day, your blog is a business. It doesn’t matter who you are talking to, whether it’s a brand , a stylist, or a PR agency Be professional, reliable and stay true to your word. It will pay off in the long term.”
Learn from your journey
If there’s something you are passionate about, whether it’s fashion, a new career path or a hobby… Pursue it. Don’t let the fear of failing hold you back from doing something you love.
Perserve
Remember that everyone starts somewhere, and everyone has the opportunity for new beginnings. Persevering is the most important step to becoming whoever you want to be. Perseverance is the key to success.
