With grace and poise, The Australian Ballet leaps into its 50th year. To celebrate the anniversary with equally as much style, they threw a birthday gala on Saturday 3rd November, featuring international guests including the American Ballet Theatre, Stuttgart Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, National Ballet of China and the Tokyo Ballet.

It dates back to December 2002 but in no way does the shoot look passé. Instead of focussing on trend, it focusses on fashion as an art form and the talent of the artists that made it happen; photographer, stylist, model and makeup artist. The shoot is beautiful, timeless and inspiring.

Read MoreHaving just come back from a weekend at the beach in The Hamptons, I was captivated by these coastal aerial shots from young US photographer Gray Malin. The 26-year-old captured these amazing images by shooting from a low flying doorless helicopter. I love the contrast between the throng of people on the beach and the bare deep blue sea. How from above the beach looks so different. How the crowds make for interesting, colourful, beautiful pictures.
